Siming TPMS – Innovation in Tire Pressure Monitoring

Siming Automotive develops and supplies high-quality TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) solutions for the European aftermarket. With over 15 years of experience in sensor technology and our own extensive vehicle database, Siming offers a complete program of programmable and vehicle-specific TPMS sensors, service kits, and diagnostic equipment.

Our mission is to combine quality, reliability, and ease of use. That is why we work with the 1-sensor concept, which allows almost all vehicles on the market to be serviced quickly and efficiently. This reduces stock levels, lowers costs, and increases flexibility for distributors, wholesalers, and workshops.

Key benefits of Siming TPMS:

  • Wide vehicle coverage – covering nearly all European vehicles.

  • User-friendly – easy to program and install.

  • Reliable – manufactured to OE specifications with strict quality control.

  • Flexible – choice between universal 1-sensor and vehicle-specific variants.

  • Full support – service kits, valves, and programming tools included.

With offices in China and Europe and a growing network of partners, Siming is building a strong position in the European TPMS market. We believe in long-term partnerships, innovative products, and first-class support, ensuring our customers always receive the best solution.

Technical questions

What is a TPMS sensor and why do I need it?

A TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensor measures the air pressure in your tires and warns you if it’s too low. This improves safety, reduces fuel consumption, and extends tire life.

How do I know if my car has TPMS?

Most cars in Europe manufactured after November 2014 are equipped with TPMS by law. You can check your dashboard for the TPMS warning light or consult your owner’s manual.

What is the difference between direct and indirect TPMS?

  • Direct TPMS: uses sensors inside the wheels to measure tire pressure.

  • Indirect TPMS: uses the ABS system to detect differences in wheel speed caused by low tire pressure.

How long does a TPMS sensor last?

On average, 5–7 years or about 150,000 km. The battery inside the sensor cannot be replaced.

Do I need to replace the sensor when I change my tires?

Not always. If the sensor is still working, it can be reused. However, the service kit (valve, seals, nuts) should always be replaced to prevent leaks.

Can I use a universal sensor or do I need a brand-specific one?

Can I use a universal sensor or do I need a brand-specific one?

What is the difference between an OE sensor and a programmable sensor?

OE sensors are pre-programmed by the car manufacturer. Programmable sensors can be configured with a special tool to match your vehicle, offering broader coverage.

How is a TPMS sensor programmed or registered to the car?

A workshop uses a TPMS programming tool to clone or program the sensor. The car then needs a relearn procedure (manual or OBDII) so it recognizes the new sensor.

What does 'relearn' mean?

Relearn is the process of teaching the car’s ECU to recognize the new or replaced TPMS sensor.

Can I replace a sensor myself?

Replacing a TPMS sensor requires special tools to avoid damaging the tire or rim. It’s recommended to have it done by a professional workshop.

What should I do if my TPMS warning light stays on?

Check your tire pressures first. If they are correct, the sensor may need to be reset, reprogrammed, or replaced. Visit a workshop for diagnosis.

Do TPMS sensors work on electric cars as well?

Yes. TPMS sensors function the same way on electric, hybrid, and conventional vehicles.

Common questions

Can I order in Europe?

Yes you can, simply call Ron

What's your delivery time

2 working days

Can i visit you in Europe

Yes, you can in the Netherlands

Do you have a service hotline in Europe

Yes, you can call ........

How much does it cost to replace a TPMS sensor?

The cost depends on the type of sensor and vehicle. Generally, €40–€70 for the sensor plus installation.

Are TPMS sensors mandatory in Europe?

Yes. Since November 2014, all new passenger cars sold in the EU must be equipped with TPMS.

What is the benefit of a service kit for TPMS maintenance?

Service kits (valves, seals, caps, nuts) should be replaced during tire changes. They ensure airtight sealing, extend sensor life, and maintain safety.
